Portraits

A series of works concerning a circle of girls. The series contains video works, photos,
c-prints, objects, 2002. In collaboration with:
Katarzyna Adamek, Halina Baczewska, Joanna Baś, Katarzyna Bochenek, Beata Łupińska, Marta Ostrowicz, Maja Krysiak, Paulina Semkowicz, Anna Paszkowska, Ewa Pluta, Beata Seweryn, Aneta Sitarz, Ewa Tatar, Monika Wróbel, Julia.

Painting is an hour-long video recording. Several girls are, one after the other, applying their morning make-up. The Rithual, focusing, that's what is the easiest to observe. The same objects used similarily, thus differently each time, little changes that can equip and get girls ready to go out.

Guys - a video showing a group of girls talking about this such a hot subject. It's not what they're saying that's important though, but the way they do it. So the attention is focus on gestures and facial expression. Video has no sound.

Lipsticks (Kasia, Marta, Asia, Ewa, Ania, Paulina, Beata, Marta, Kasia, Maja, Zorka, Monika)'
a collection of lipsticks - each of them was used up by its owner in a different way.
